My daughter and I came here for the first time for lunch. Growing up in the community I have always heard great things about this restaurant. There were a few issues that tainted my experience today. First we waited 20 minutes to order our food. I understand it was busy when we entered the restaurant. After placing our order, we waited another 45 minutes for our food. The wait time did it for me. Then I ordered a dessert item that did not make it to my table. I had to ask for my dessert on the way out of the door. No apology or anything. I believe this will be the first and last time I visit this establishment.
Best thing about our meal was our iced tea!!! Service was horrible. 40 minutes for a sandwich and soup? Seriously? Not worth the $16.00 it cost either. Chicken salad sandwich had 0 flavor. Friend's grilled chicken was very dry. A place we will avoid in the future. You should do the same!
Never had a bad meal here. Consistently great food and good service. Desserts are huge and to die for!
Very nice, somewhat cozy place serving a good variety of delicious food. Only negative comment is the tip you leave the server goes into a "jar" and is divided amongst all employees. So, if my server provided stellar service and friendliness, but other servers are lax in their job performance, they are still equally rewarded by another server's desire to provide a pleasant dining experience for patrons. Kind of makes you want to leave a standard tip, rather than giving extra to those more deserving,
