I like to try new restuarant but my wife doesn't. I always mess with her about giving places a chance. Lol. Everything was great at this place until we ordered drinks. I ordered the tequila drink with a extra shot of tequila. The drink i order had Avion reposado tequila and i could taste the extra shot because it was a Blanco/Silver. I dont know the rules of bartending but any other time i ask for an extra shot the same kind of tequila is used. My wife ordered a mojito that tasted like dirty socks. I didnt send my drink back but my wife did and as the waitress was taking it back i saw the manager pull the straw out of the drink to confirm it taste bad. I liked that he did that so it wouldn't seem like we were being difficult. I ordered a shrimp pasta dish and it was good. My wife order some fried foods that was good as well. Overall i think i will go back to this place. Dont know about my wife, but i will.
Started with a dozen Gulf oysters on the half shell that were so fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced! They were chilled perfectly. I am an oyster snob having lived on the east coast my entire life but enjoying them both in New Orleans and Hog Island oysters in California. Then I had a salad. Followed by the Fried Seafood Platter with oysters, shrimp, catfish, deviled crab cake, hush puppies and French fries. The coating they use is delicious and fried to perfection. I am stuffed. Wait staff is excellent and food is served quickly. Great place!
My only complaint is that we were promised they would start stocking our requested bourbon of choice . . . and they didn't do it, very disappointing. Isn't liquor a profit center? I would have a second drink if you stocked my brand.
A little hard to get to due to 90A construction, but worth the extra effort!
Seafood gumbo is better than more pricey restaurants advertising they have the best gumbo. Fried entrees are excellent - batter is lite and perfectly seasoned. Grilled items are cooked expertly, delicious. I would like to see other lettuce than iceberg in the salads.
Still my favorite place to spend an evening with friends. Food is always great and the service always wonderful and friendly. My go to drink is always the jalapeño gimlet(yummy with just a bit of spice) and the baked oysters are delicious!

So happy to have dinner here. The service was super friendly and hardly any wait at all for my meal and appetizers. The food was delicious and i will definitely be back.
