I ordered the chicken taco salad it was so salty I had to send it back. It is served in a cold taco shell and came out on a plate so hot I have a blister on my finger! The salsa was so spicy it was not edible and the chips though crunchy tasted burnt! My boyfriend ordered the temale plate...the beans were bland and again the meat so salty it was nasty. They had so much sauce on top it just over powered everything! They have a sign out front saying best in 2016...they are the worst in 2017!
The restaurant hasn't changed much over the years. I have so many fond memories of this place. The decor, waiters, and food are the same as I remember from when I came here as a child with my grandparents. I hope it never changes!
I love Larry's Mexican Restaurant. I have been coming to Larry's for over 40 years. The food is consistently delicious and the service is outstanding. I make it point to come to Larry's whenever I am anywhere near Houston.
Still the best old Mexican restaurant in the area. I've been going for 45 years plus and always enjoy it and walk out stuffed. You'll love it as much as I do!
Ate there for lunch. Lunch specials are priced nice and reasonable. Portions generous, could not eat all 3 tacos. They were filled with completely flavorless ground beef. I know it has been around a long time think they would dust and clean it. As I was leaving I overhear a customer talking about something running across table. Wont be back
