The apartments are okay in great location low rent.
I didn't go inside but the outer buildings seem to be well kept.
Mold, bed bugs, roaches, drug dealers, broken windows, broken locks, missing oven rack.
Trash everywhere, never fixed broken dishwasher, that they knew was broken before I moved in. Rude office staff, No one knows what to do without managers presence on site. File wrongful evictions. Paid 1530 for a two bedroom apartment in the back where o it floods. But they take felons at deposit Matching rent scammer prices.
I give 1 star simply because of the amount of space given for the price. Other than that i would suggest that this complex would be the last resort for anyone in the market for a new apartment. There were koolaid and cigarette ash stains all through my livingroom area (even though management claimed the shampooed it). The unit was relatively dirty upon move in..... it looked like the previous tenants had just moved out. It is infested with german roaches (had an outside exterminator come out and look), and management tried to accuse me of bringing roaches. I have been here less than 2 weeks and theybare everywhere (in the fridge, every cabinet etc.). The cabinet in each batgroom was separated atvleast 2 inches from the wall making a sfe places for roaches. I had to bleach evrything down before bringing my things in and my kids in. Dishwasher only had 1 roller on bottom rack which prevented it from washing so it could not be used. The a/c drain hose is above the shower and can drain at anytime (unsaintary). The light in the closet has a shoestring ties to it in irser to be cut on. I was told that i would get one ceiling fan and when i informed the office where i wanted it installed they never came. They have the excuse that they only had one maintenance man who was going between multiple properties. The unit has many cosmetic issues in which i was told by staff was to be fixed because they did not have time to food it before i moved in. Staff are completely unprofessional and can not do anything without the manager present. Who in fact lives on property but is never in the office or available for leasing agents to get anything done. Management refuses to do anything in regards to any complaints or request. Then the manager suggested that tenants who are receiving assistance with their rent from agencies get treated differently then those paying for rent on their own. That she gives them less. And it was explained to her that it is wrong for her to discriminate against people who are receiving assistance because it doesn't matter how they pay their rent as long as it is paid. The only reason I was able to get management to fix problems in the apartment that were here prior to my move in was because i threatened to call their property management company. At that point they came and made the necessary repairs. Another ubsettling thing is that management gives evryone in the office accees to unit keys and I am sure that not all the individuals in the office are official employees. Again its not a bad location or a bad amount of space for the price but everything else is piss poor.
Do not rent here unless you absolutely have no choice, the manager doesn't care about this place one bit and If you request anything to be done, replaced or fixed, you may as well just spend your own money to do it. When my boyfriend moved in, the oven was missing its rack making it unusable, the toilet was covered in god only knows what, drawers weren't attached to anything just hanging in a hole so you couldn't put anything in them without it spilling out backwards. Not to mention the key lock to the door didn't do anything and you could actually just pull it out with your hand. Told the offices multiple times and they just brush it off, honestly the first time I went in there I didn't even realize she worked in the office because she was sitting behind a desk in booty shorts and a crop top letting her baby crawl around on the dirty floor. Then the real fun started back when Richmond flooded, the water breeched the apartment and caused tons of water damage and mold, but do they care? Nope. To top it all off there's nothing lining the door frames so there a huge gap to the outside for bugs galore to just walk right into your apartment. At night while fending off the bugs you get to have tons of fun listing to your neighbors domestic disputes or step outside and watch a tweaked out Mexican guy deal coke by the gas station. Don't bother with any positive reviews this place has, its just the people who work here and the landscaping guys posting them because the manger gives them extra cash if they post positive things on various websites, seriously one of them actually told me this. Now that he's trying to move out so we can live together they refused to do a conformation of residence form for our rental agency stating that its breaking his lease because he didn't give 30 days notice..........he hasn't moved yet and is still paying rent, all that form ask is if he lives there........... Honestly if they refuse to return his security deposit we're suing and reporting them for these deplorable conditions, no one should live in this hell hole.
