good luck trying to get a referral if you have an hmo and need one. Staff says they will do it, but weeks will go by with nothing done.
My wife has been seeing Dr Umah for about a year and she's been very happy with her. I decided to go see her for a couple things that I've been putting off for a while. I do have an HMO and required two referrals. They were on top of it. Everyone has been very polite, caring and patient through the whole process.
Dr. Umah is an amazing doctor. She really takes the time to not only listen to you but really hear you. She really cares about the health and concerns of her patients. She, hands down, is one of the best doctors i have ever seen. Her staff is pretty amazing too!
Front Desk (Veronica) is very uncompassionate and incompetent with patients! Angela (the referral specialist) is rude and argumentative with patients! Dr. Umah is nice, but I did appreciate Dr. Umah allowing a non-medical professional observe my intake! The observer was not a medical student! My patient record is protected by Hippa Federal Law!
Dr Umah is very professional, very kind and very attentive. She really cares about her patients. Have been seeing her going on 3 yrs now. I strongly recommend her!
