Be careful their environment, lot of little rocks and wood debris, high chance for you dog to eat, then have GI upset or block. Just saved my dog from GI Block after picked them up. Never go back again.
I was very happily surprised when I picked up my pit/boxer mix. He was very cheerful ..like he was in a spa for 9 days. He did not smell, and he looked great. The kennel is very well maintained and exceptionally clean.(Unlike other kennels I have taken him to where he would pull to get to the car when I pick him up.). At Parkland, they played with him and he got a lot of attention. This is so great!! They charge a bit more than other local kennels, but it is definitely worth it if the dog is happy and relaxed during his stay.
Left jager for 10 days. When I picked him up he was happy. They did a really good job. I even asked them to have him clean (grooming) . He was perfect
I use to work here. Changing from the pets hotel at PetSmart to parkland is like stepping out of the darkness into the light. When a kennel is privately owned you know the owner cares and will only hire people that care. Corporate kennels hire people who will work for minimum wage as long as they can work the hours, ie people who just need a job.
The best! Not sure how anyone could be anything but positive about Parkland Kennel. They have a new owner and she is very hands on with the dogs. Mine love going there. Owner, grooming and front desk staff are exceptional. They are thorough and friendly as well as professional. Highly recommend!
